According to the Decree 1714 of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and Resolution No. 05 of 2015 of the National Committee of Coffee Growers of Colombia, natural or legal persons who want to export green or processed coffee must register as Coffee exporters, before the National Federation of Coffee Growers.
With this program you can export:
60 kg of green coffee
50.4 kg of roasted coffee
23 Kg of soluble coffee
23 Kg of coffee extract
And the export value must not exceed 5,000 Dollars.
The only companies authorized to export coffee are: 4-72, Quickly, DHL, Serv Belly, FedEx, UPS, TNT.
Coffee contribution: The coffee contribution is a tax of a particular and obligatory nature, in charge of Colombian coffee producers, which is generated at the time of exportation and which reverts to the benefit of the coffee sector that pays it.
According to the regulations of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (FNC), the quantities you require are exported in the following ways:
-In small quantities (green coffee up to 60Kg – Roasted coffee up to 50.4kg), the FNC authorizes the following operators: 4-72, FedEx, DHL, UPS, Deprisa, Servientrega, TNT, TRANEXCO and World Courier de Colombia.
-Greater than these amounts, such as a normal export through your trusted customs broker.

Required documents:
• The coffee contribution certificate issued by the online store.
• Proof of payment for the PSE button.
• The proof of rebate (document issued by the National Federation of Coffee Growers that accredits the exact amount of coffee being marketed in the international market, in order to make the correct liquidation of the coffee contribution.)

The export of coffee is governed by the following decrees and resolutions:

Any natural or legal person planning to export coffee must thresh and / or roast the product in establishments registered and authorized by the FNC.
The requirements are set forth in Resolution 01 of 2002 of the National Committee of Coffee Growers that regulates the registration procedures.
Packaging: Green coffee is packed by the FNC in 70 kg sacks, the dimensions of which are:
70 cm wide by 95 cm long, with a tolerance of 3%.
Those used to mark the packaging must be made with natural substances that do not affect the quality of the coffee.
Polypropylene packaging is also used for the export of green coffee. Polypropylene as a plastic material is developed under strict quality control and provides full safety of use in its different applications.
Big Bags: Super type polypropylene bags are commonly known as
BIG BAGS are packages used for the export of solid and liquid bulks in volume superior to traditional packages.
Dimensions commonly used in these bags are: 1.05 * width * 1.05 length * 1.20 height.
Jumbo Liner: These are polypropylene fiber linings used for bulk coffee exports in 20-foot containers.
Processed coffee is packaged according to the requirements of the destination country.
