Our default coffee comes from Santander near CC’s HQ and coffee hotel base, or we grow the coffee in 2-3 farms in each of these regions, and export roasted or unroasted to our partners, customers, and distributors. Choose below:
Coffees of Colombia Environmental and Social Responsibility.
Our coffee is produced on farms that appreciate and practice environmental and social responsibility. Farms that apply good agricultural practices and coffee production processes established by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia guarantee the recognized quality of Colombian coffee, as the best soft coffee in the world.
The farms are also checked to continually be under the care of forest reserves that protect several water sources. The federation also guarantees that all the people involved in the production process are duly protected and receive a fair trade price and legal payment.
The Coffee Hotel also operates under sustainable production standards, making Good use of wáter resources (Water treatment plant), proper disposal of waste, and ecological trails are designed so as not to affect the fauna and flora of the área nor to destroy wáter sources.
The farms CoC sources from typically offer green beans FOB, depending on quality, region, and certifications. Our field team recently heavily work in high-altitude Arabica beans (Caturra, Castillo & Bourbon).
Exports are handled legally through licensed exporters under ICA, INVIMA and DIAN regulations, with proper phytosanitary and customs documentation (we can help with this for foreign companies but the approval time is between 2-3 months to do it legally unless we do it for you.)
Both green and roasted options are available between our farmers portfolio, and we’ve coordinated private label bagging with custom packaging, pricing for roasted and bagged coffee (we usually handled the product itself, the coffee bags for private labels have an extra fee of course) depending on volume, specs, quality of coffee.
Also note that if you want a certificate origin coffee, the price will be higher because it is a premium quality and requieres additional certifications that we need to do some paperwork to obtain. People from most include our town and family usually sell their coffee to the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, the organization is in charge of selection and exportation of most of the coffee from Colombia, as green beans.
